Butterfly Valves for Water and Industrial Flow Control

HSVA supplies butterfly valves for isolation and flow-control duties in municipal water, wastewater, HVAC, fire protection and general industrial systems. The catalogue range includes flanged, telescopic, wafer and lugged configurations with manual, gear, pneumatic or electric actuation according to project requirements.

Core Butterfly Valve Range

  • D341X flanged butterfly valve: geared flanged design for water and compatible mildly corrosive media, commonly specified from DN80 to DN600.
  • SD343X / SD943X / SD643 telescopic flanged butterfly valves: manual, electric and pneumatic options for pipelines requiring installation-length adjustment.
  • Soft-seated double-eccentric flanged butterfly valve: low-friction opening and closing with resilient sealing for water-service applications.
  • Wafer and lugged butterfly valves: compact solutions for HVAC, building services and industrial utility pipelines.

Selection Information

  • Nominal size: model-dependent ranges up to DN1200
  • Pressure rating: commonly PN10 or PN16; other ratings depend on model
  • Typical media: water, wastewater, steam, oil and compatible fluids
  • Actuation: lever, worm gear, pneumatic or electric
  • Body, disc, stem and seat materials should be selected for the medium and operating temperature

What to Include in Your RFQ

Send valve type or model, DN, pressure rating, connection and face-to-face standard, body/disc/seat materials, medium, temperature, actuator requirements, quantity and certificate or inspection requirements. For actuated valves, also state voltage, control signal, fail position and enclosure rating.

Typical Applications

Water treatment, municipal networks, pumping stations, HVAC systems, cooling-water lines, fire-water systems, industrial utilities and distributor stock programs.

Butterfly Valve FAQ

When should a telescopic butterfly valve be selected?
It can simplify installation where limited axial adjustment is required, but the permitted adjustment range and piping support must be confirmed during design.

Can HSVA help match an actuator?
Yes. Provide torque, power supply, control method, enclosure rating and operating conditions so the valve and actuator package can be reviewed together.
