Valve Order Documents, Before They Become an Afterthought
Drawings, test records and packing evidence should be agreed while the order can still be changed. This page separates common records from project-specific requirements.
Agree the record before production starts.
What will be added after internal review
Approved drawing excerpt
A redacted drawing will be added after customer and engineering information is removed.
Pressure-test record
A representative form will be added after the test standard and fields are checked by the factory team.
Packing and marking approval
A redacted nameplate, carton or wooden-case approval will be added when publication is authorised.
A test photograph is context, not the acceptance record.
The purchase order should identify the test standard, pressure, duration, leakage acceptance and any witness requirement. The final record should match the valve tag or order reference used by the buyer.
Send the checklist with the valve schedule.
Mark each record as required, not required or subject to confirmation. HSVA can then include the document basis in the technical and commercial review.
